The day begins with a private guided walk on the Fossestien trail along the Gaula River, passing a selection of the fourteen waterfalls that make this one of the most scenic easy trails in western Norway. Your guide chooses the section and pace to suit your group — whether that is a gentle one-hour stroll or a longer valley walk to the mountain lakes.
From the waterfall trail, the experience moves to Høyanger village itself — one of the most distinctive fjord communities in Vestland, built around one of Norway's first major hydroelectric power schemes. Your guide brings the history of the village to life against the backdrop of the fjord before a stop at a local coffee spot to round off the day.

The experience includes a private guided waterfall walk on the Fossestien trail, a guided tour of Høyanger village with fjord viewpoints, and a local coffee stop. All guide fees are included. Transport to Høyanger and personal gear are not included.
